Client
Wall&decò

Type
Exhibition

Narcissus was the son of a river god named Cephissus and a nymph named Liriope. He was exceptionally proud, in that he drove away Echo, a mountain nymph who loved him deeply. She was heartbroken, Nemesis saw this and attracted Narcissus to a pool where he saw his own reflection in the water and fell in love with it. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus died turning into a flower.

PADIGLIONEITALIA designers created for Wall&Decò a wallpaper collection inspired by underwater worlds. Artworks are presented during Bologna Water Design 2013 at one of inedited cloisters of Ex-Maternità.
As Narcissus, the visitor sees his figure reflected on water surface and projected on underwater worlds.
The collection is realized with OUT system – Outdoor Unconventional Texture – technical covering for the outdoors with a highly decorative appeal.
